Get the kids involved in the City of Gold Coast NaturallyGC program over the school holiday! Taking place throughout April near our Biggera Waters accommodation, this kid-friendly educational program is the ideal opportunity to learn about the environment, get hands-on, and meet some friendly Gold Coast animals along the way.

Wildlife Encounters

On April 6, NaturallyGC Wildlife Encounters in Labrador will invite kids of all ages to come face-to-face with some of Australia’s friendly indigenous animals. They’ll get the chance to meet and learn about possums, lizards, snakes, turtles, crocodiles, and lots more.

Walk on the Wildside

On April 10, Walk on the Wildlife will offer the opportunity to discover kangaroos, koalas and more and what they get up to at the Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area. This one-hour walk will be led by a natural areas officer and will take them through wetlands for an exciting morning adventure.

Introduction to Nature Journaling

On April 13 in Upper Coomera, Introduction to Nature Journaling is a drawing and writing workshop that will take place outdoors. Kids will go out to observe nature then draw and write what they see and feel, offering a fun introduction to nature journaling.

Creatures of the Dark

On April 13 in the evening, Creatures of the Dark will take kids over five years on a nighttime walk to spot some of Australia’s iconic nocturnal creatures. The one-hour walk will be followed by a half-hour wildlife show, where they’ll get to meet some more fascinating animals up close.
