Gold Coast Attractions

From luxurious day spas to indulgent shopping, international dining and hiking adventures in the wilderness, the Gold Coast has something to excite and inspire everyone.

Beaches and National Parks

Home to 70km of sweeping golden coastline, the Gold Coast is a real beach lover’s paradise. The region hosts several major international surfing tournaments every year, with great surf spots to be found at Coolangatta, Rainbow Bay and The Spit, as well as plenty of great beaches for beginners.

Just a short drive back from the ocean, you’ll find magnificent National Parks such as Mount Tamborine, Spring Brook and Lamington.

Shopping and Dining

Our family accommodation Gold Coast Broadwater is located just a short drive from Harbour Town Shopping Centre and Robina Town Centre and Australia Fair in Southport and is also within easy reach. For hidden handmade treasures you won’t find anywhere else, don’t forget to check out the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets, which take place every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday night.

There are a number of great places to eat within walking distance of the resort, including Mexican and Thai options. Broadbeach, the region’s culinary capital, is less than 20 minutes drive away.

Theme Parks and Family Attractions

Families can enjoy action-packed days out at world-class theme parks such as Movie World, Sea World and Dream World, all less than 30 minutes from our Biggera Waters apartments. Animal lovers can head to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for magical ‘up close’ experiences with koalas, lizards and kangaroos, while quirky attractions such as Infinity, Dracula’s Haunted House and Ripley’s Believe It or Not will entertain all ages.
